The 2023 Latin Grammy Nominations Unveiled!
The Latin Recording Academy has officially announced the nominees for the 24th annual Latin Grammy Awards. Édgar Barrera, a prolific songwriter/producer known for collaborations with artists like Bad Bunny, Camilo, Karol G, Maluma, Shakira, and others, leads the pack with an impressive total of 12 nominations. The 33-year-old Mexican-American talent has been recognized in highly sought-after categories, including best record, album, producer, songwriter, and song of the year, where he secured two nominations. In both the best tropical and regional song categories, Barrera has garnered three nominations, showcasing his remarkable contribution to Latin music.
This year’s Latin Grammy Awards also introduce several fresh categories, including Songwriter of the Year, Best Singer-Songwriter Song, and Best Portuguese Language Urban Performance.
The highly anticipated award ceremony is scheduled for November 16 and will take place at the Conference and Exhibition Centre (FIBES) in Sevilla, Spain. Fans can catch the broadcast on Univision in the United States and Radio Televisión Española in Spain.
