Beyoncé is bringing high-fashion country vibes to life.

The renowned singer, aged 42, continued her Western-inspired fashion streak at the 2024 iHeart Radio Music Awards in Los Angeles, where she received the Innovator Award.

In celebration of her debut country album, “Cowboy Carter,” the iconic artist went all out in a complete leather ensemble from archival Versace pieces, including a zippered leather jacket adorned with golden Medusa details, a studded leather vest, and crystal-embellished leather pants from the brand’s Fall-Winter 1992 collection.

Complementing the look were pointed boots featuring Medusa emblems, a Medusa cowboy hat, and layered double belts. To add a touch of glamour, she adorned herself with Zydo diamond jewelry.

Beyoncé utilized the acknowledgment as an opportunity to advocate for acceptance, urging everyone to approach art with an open mind, devoid of preconceived notions.

Presented with the award by Stevie Wonder, who hailed her as “a true visionary,” Beyoncé was later thanked for “inspiring the world to strive for betterment.”

Expressing gratitude to Wonder, she disclosed his harmonica contribution to her rendition of “Jolene,” featured on Cowboy Carter.

“In tonight’s acknowledgment of me as an innovator, I am deeply thankful,” she articulated in her speech. “Innovation begins with a dream. However, actualizing that dream can be a challenging journey, marked by criticism that tests one’s resilience.”

On the day of Cowboy Carter’s release, Beyoncé held an album signing event in Tokyo, showcasing a seductive twist on cowgirl attire. Greeting fans, the “Texas Hold ‘Em” vocalist sported a monochromatic brown ensemble, comprising a latex bodycon dress, trench coat, opera gloves, and strappy heels, topped off with a cowboy hat.

Throughout the year, the Grammy winner has consistently incorporated cowboy hats into her wardrobe for various events. At the Luar fashion show during New York Fashion Week, where she witnessed her nephew Juelz strut the runway alongside her mother, Tina Knowles, Beyoncé opted for another monochromatic ensemble, donning an embellished gray pantsuit accessorized with a Stetson cowboy hat. She accented her look with gleaming details on her suit and a metallic Luar handbag.

Even prior to the announcement of Cowboy Carter, Beyoncé hinted at her venture into the country genre. At the Grammys, where she accompanied husband JAY-Z, honored with the Dr. Dre Global Impact Award, she donned a cowboy hat. Initially seeming like a stylistic preference — given the prevailing trend of cowboy fashion — it later aligned perfectly with the revelation of her upcoming country-inspired album.

Her choice of a Stetson at the event reflected the ongoing resonance of cowboy style, which was experiencing a resurgence. However, just days following the Grammys, when she unveiled her plans for the country-esque album, the significance of her wardrobe choice became evident, seamlessly tying into the overall thematic direction she was embracing.
