Beyoncé is taking her Renaissance World Tour to the silver screen!

Shortly after concluding the tour with a final performance in Kansas City, Missouri, on Sunday night, the 42-year-old singer unveiled the trailer for her upcoming film project. This film, titled “Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé,” is set to be released in theaters on December 1.

According to an official synopsis, the film aims to highlight the journey of the Renaissance World Tour, from its inception to its grand finale in Kansas City, Missouri. It offers insights into Beyoncé’s dedication, hard work, and her involvement in every aspect of the production. The film also delves into her creative process and her commitment to crafting her legacy and honing her craft.

The synopsis goes on to mention that Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour received overwhelming acclaim and created a space for freedom and shared joy, captivating the hearts of more than 2.7 million fans.

The film’s trailer, which was released online after premiering following Beyoncé’s final tour performance, offers a glimpse behind the scenes and showcases the “Halo” singer’s on-stage performances.

In the trailer, Beyoncé’s voice can be heard saying, “When I am performing, I am nothing but free,” while scenes of her interacting with her three children — Blue Ivy Carter, 11, and twins Sir and Rumi Carter, 6 — are interspersed throughout the video.

She goes on to explain the tour’s objective, stating, “The goal for this tour was to create a place where everyone is free and no one is judged,” as the trailer continues to feature various clips from the tour.

Beyoncé concludes the two-minute-long video by expressing her sense of liberation, stating, “I feel liberated. I have transitioned into a new animal.”

Beyoncé inaugurated her Renaissance World Tour at the Friends Arena in Stockholm, Sweden, earlier this year, marking her first solo concert tour in seven years.

The tour’s setlist encompasses a range of tracks from her seventh studio album, “Renaissance,” including titles like “Alien Superstar,” “Cuff It,” “Pure/Honey,” and “Plastic Off the Sofa.” Additionally, the concert features a selection of iconic hits spanning Beyoncé’s extensive career, such as “Crazy in Love,” “Partition,” and “Love on Top.”

A memorable highlight of the show includes a special appearance by Blue Ivy, who joins her renowned parent on stage for performances of the songs “My Power” and “Black Parade.”
