Adele has stated that she currently has no intentions of releasing new music, expressing her desire for an extended break.

During an interview with the German outlet ‘ZDF,’ the pop star disclosed her plans to explore other creative projects.
Fans shouldn’t anticipate new music from Adele in the near future. In an interview with German outlet ZDF on July 14, the 36-year-old “Skyfall” singer shared her intention to take a significant break from music and focus on “other creative things” for a while.
“I don’t have any plans for new music, at all,” Adele stated. “I want a big break after this and I think I want to do other creative things, just for a little while.”
She also expressed her ambivalence towards fame, saying, “I don’t like being famous. I love that I get to make music all the time.”
Adele has been known to take her time between albums throughout her career. Her debut, “19,” came out in 2008, followed by “21” in 2011, “25” in 2015, and her fourth album, “30,” in 2021.
In a December 2023 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Adele mentioned she hadn’t considered new music yet. “I have to wait for a feeling,” she explained. “If I get antsy, that’s when I know I have to go to the studio, and I am the opposite of antsy right now.”
Regarding other creative ventures, Adele revealed a desire for a specific movie role, although the project’s writer isn’t prepared to develop it yet. “That’s the only role I ever want,” she noted. “Because I think I’d nail it. I think I’d do really, really, really well at it.”
Adele also announced a series of residency shows at Munich Messe arena in Germany from August 2 to August 24, which she shared on Instagram in January.
“I haven’t performed in Europe since 2016! I couldn’t imagine a more wonderful way to spend my summer and conclude this beautiful phase of my life and career than with shows closer to home during such an exciting summer,” Adele wrote in the caption of her post.
Following her Germany tour, the Grammy-winning artist will continue with a series of Las Vegas residency dates that were rescheduled from March, now set for October 25, October 26, November 1, November 2, November 8, November 9, November 15, November 16, November 22, and November 23.
Originally, her Las Vegas residency was scheduled to finish on June 15.
