On Thursday, Feb. 12, Rexha shared a compilation teaser previewing the 13 songs and visuals that will be featured on her upcoming album.

A new era is underway for Bebe Rexha!

The 36-year-old Grammy-nominated singer announced her upcoming visual album, Dirty Blonde, on Thursday, Feb. 12, alongside a Diplo-mixed supercut previewing all 13 tracks and accompanying music videos.

Staying true to her eclectic style, Dirty Blonde blends multiple genres, including pop, EDM, country, and hip-hop, according to the teaser. Rexha plans to release each song individually through her partnership with independent label EMPIRE.

“This next chapter is all about creative freedom — trusting my instincts, trusting my voice, and finally doing things the way I’ve always wanted,” Rexha said. “I’ve learned a lot, I’ve lived a lot, and I’m fully tuned into myself now. Following my gut has been one of the best choices in my career. This era is fearless, bold, and unapologetic — no filters, no limits. Dirty Blonde is me embracing exactly who I am.”

The supercut opens with the New York native honoring her roots, singing an Albanian-language track, “Chica Chica,” while surrounded by men sporting “Bebe” tattoos at a street party. Other clips show her dancing with pole performers, sharing a diner kiss with a waiter, partying energetically, and DJ-ing in a nightclub, with songs reflecting both confidence and vulnerability.

In additional footage, Rexha is seen shedding tears during hair and makeup, examining herself in a mirror, dancing in a convenience store, lounging at a bar, posing on city streets, working out with a partner, and engaging in an intense therapy session.

In a Billboard interview, Rexha explained that Dirty Blonde is her way of presenting her authentic self. This marks her first full-length independent release.

“I feel like people used to see me as this perfect, clean-girl pop star,” she shared. “Being signed to a major label can be stressful because you’re always trying to satisfy others. Many of my biggest songs were originally written by me but rejected by my labels.”

The singer, known for hits like “Meant to Be” and “I’m Good (Blue),” noted that some of her most successful songs were previously discouraged by industry executives. With this new project, she is fully in control of her music and creative vision.
