Britney Spears’ police report has revealed additional information regarding the pop star’s arrest in March.

The pop icon previously pleaded guilty to a lesser charge earlier this month and was later sentenced to probation.
Britney Spears reportedly displayed erratic behavior and rapid mood changes during her March arrest for suspected driving under the influence, according to newly released police documents and video footage.
The singer, 44, was stopped by authorities in Ventura County, California, on March 4. Reports obtained by PEOPLE state that she invited officers to her home for a meal after the traffic stop and claimed she had consumed only one mimosa roughly six hours earlier.
During the interaction, Spears allegedly told officers, “I could probably drink four bottles of wine and still take care of you. I’m an angel,” while insisting her intoxication level was “zero” on a scale of 10.
Authorities reported that Spears completed two breathalyzer tests, registering blood alcohol readings of .05 and .06 — both below California’s legal limit of .08%. However, a drug recognition evaluation concluded that she appeared to be under the influence of a central nervous system stimulant, a category of medication commonly prescribed for conditions such as ADHD, depression, and narcolepsy.
According to the arrest report, officers discovered a bottle of Adderall in Spears’ purse that was not prescribed to her. She also reportedly admitted to taking 200 mg of Lamictal, explaining that she uses the medication for epilepsy and mood-related issues, while describing Adderall as something that helped her remain “elevated.”
Police documents further alleged that Spears occasionally spoke with a British accent during the arrest and shifted from being argumentative and agitated to cooperative and theatrical. In one moment caught on video, she offered to cook food for officers and invited them to swim at her home. Later, she reportedly became emotional in the patrol car, accusing officers of mistreating her and breaking down in tears after being handcuffed.
Spears previously discussed her history with Adderall in her 2023 memoir, The Woman in Me, describing it as her “drug of choice” during the early 2000s because it temporarily eased feelings of depression.
The singer has publicly faced mental health challenges throughout her life and spent 13 years under a conservatorship following her widely publicized 2008 mental health crisis.
Earlier this month, Spears pleaded guilty to a reduced “wet reckless” charge. She was sentenced to 12 months of summary probation, one day in jail credited as time served, a $571 fine, and mandatory completion of a three-month DUI education program involving 30 hours of classes.
