Cabello Voices Support for Fifth Harmony’s Four-Member Reunion

Camila Cabello has shown there’s no tension between her and her former Fifth Harmony bandmates.
On Aug. 31, the group came together for their first performance in over six years, joining the Jonas Brothers as special guests during their JONAS20: Greetings from Your Hometown Tour stop at the Dos Equis Pavilion in Dallas.
“Y’all remember Fifth Harmony?” Normani asked the audience as she and bandmates Lauren Jauregui, Dinah Jane, and Ally Brooke took the stage. The four then launched into a polished routine that featured their hit “Work From Home.”
The reunion was livestreamed exclusively on Samsung TV Plus.
Though Cabello, now 28, was not part of the performance, she quickly celebrated her former bandmates online. Sharing a clip of them performing their smash single “Worth It,” she commented with four red heart emojis—seemingly a tribute to the four members on stage.
The performance followed reports from The Hollywood Reporter earlier this year that the group had been discussing a possible reunion project, including a documentary and tour.
Adding to the excitement, just hours before their unannounced appearance, Fifth Harmony reignited fan speculation by posting on X for the first time since 2018, using the teaser hashtag #FifthHarmonyFollowSpree.
Fifth Harmony’s final official show took place at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida, on May 11, 2018—just two months after the group revealed they would be going on an indefinite hiatus to pursue solo projects.
Camila Cabello had already left the group earlier, on Dec. 19, 2016. At the time, the band issued a statement on X (formerly Twitter), saying: “After four and a half years together, we were informed through her representatives that Camila has chosen to leave Fifth Harmony. We wish her the best.”
Shortly after, Cabello shared her own message, writing that while she was saddened by how the chapter closed, she would always support her former bandmates both individually and as a group. “I wish them nothing but the best—success, joy, and true happiness,” she said.
