Céline Dion reveals 10 “unforgettable” Paris shows, signaling her official stage comeback amid Stiff-Person Syndrome.

Céline Dion disclosed that she received a diagnosis of Stiff-Person Syndrome in 2022.
For her 58th birthday on Monday, March 30, Céline Dion is treating fans to the gift of live performances.
The Canadian superstar revealed she will headline 10 shows over five weeks at the Paris La Défense Arena this fall, marking her first concert series since disclosing her diagnosis of Stiff-Person Syndrome in December 2022.
In an Instagram video announcement, the “My Heart Will Go On” singer shared, “Hi everyone, I’ve recorded plenty of birthday messages over the years, but this is the first time I’ve made one for my own birthday. And wow, it’s been hard keeping it a secret from myself. But I want you all to know I’m doing well. I’m managing my health, feeling good, singing again, and even doing a little bit of dancing, of course.”
Céline Dion shared that she had “something very important” to announce to her fans and expressed gratitude for their ongoing prayers, support, and love.
“This year, I’m receiving the most incredible gift of my life—the opportunity to see you and perform for you once again in Paris, starting this September,” she said. “I’m thrilled and ready for this. I feel strong, happy, excited, and yes, a little nervous, but above all, I am deeply grateful to all of you.”
She wrapped up by saying, “I can’t wait to see you again.”
Tickets for the general public will go on sale Friday, April 10 at 10 a.m. CEST, with an artist presale available on April 7 through Fair AXS at celinedion.com. Additionally, Visa will host a presale from April 8–9.
In the days leading up to the announcement, Dion teased her return on Instagram, sharing photos of herself in Paris and hinting at upcoming performances. Billboard-style signage featuring her hits like “Pour que tu m’aimes encore,” “The Power of Love,” and “My Heart Will Go On” appeared throughout the city.
“I don’t know how to tell you…” she captioned the post, originally in French. The tease coincided with a report by Canadian outlet La Presse confirming her plans for a Paris concert series.
Dion was originally scheduled to perform at the same venue in 2020 as part of her Courage World Tour, but those dates were postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Her tour plans were later further delayed following her diagnosis with Stiff-Person Syndrome in August 2022.
Since her diagnosis, she has returned to the stage for select performances, including a 2024 appearance at the base of the Eiffel Tower during the Paris Olympics opening ceremony and a November 2024 show at the 1001 Seasons of Elie Saab fashion event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
