Céline Dion is showing she’s a fun and relatable mom!
On Monday, January 5, the French-Canadian singer shared a playful video on TikTok, announcing that she’s officially diving into the social media platform.
In the clip, filmed in front of a city skyline, Dion, 57, introduces herself and jokes about her age and kids while wearing a black sweatshirt emblazoned with her name. Quoting her children, she adds, “We have to get you on TikTok.”
“TikTok? I’ve heard that before. Suddenly, I’m cool. Céline Dion is cool. Amazing. TikTok, here I come. Ciao,” she concludes with a laugh.
In the caption, Dion explained, “They told me, ‘Céline, it’s time…’ I asked, ‘Time for what?’ Turns out…something completely new. My team said they’d handle everything, gave me back my phone, and quietly disappeared. So here I am, learning the TikTok world…one video at a time! Thank you for being here; I’m glad we’re here together.”
Although this video seemed to mark her official entrance onto the platform, Dion’s TikTok account had actually been active for some time.
Recently, Dion has also been more visible on social media. On New Year’s Eve, she shared a heartfelt message with her fans.
“As we welcome the new year, I want to take a moment to send you my love. May this year bring you good health, happiness, and peace in your heart,” she wrote. “I hope you find laughter in the little things, strength during tough moments, and joy in the memories you create with your loved ones.”
She also expressed gratitude to her fans for keeping her in their hearts. “You are always in mine. From my family to yours, I just want to wish you a happy new year,” she added, blowing a kiss to the camera.
Her caption read, “May 2026 bring peace to your heart, light to your path, and space to dream. Happy New Year, from me to you.”
