On March 21, the 34-year-old soccer player shared a detailed statement on Instagram Stories, in both Portuguese and English, claiming that Roan had a security guard confront his 11-year-old daughter during a breakfast encounter at a hotel in São Paulo. According to him, the guard accused the child of being disrespectful and harassing the singer, leaving her visibly distressed.

Later that same day, while performing at Lollapalooza Brazil, Roan expressed appreciation for her team onstage, including her crew, band, and security staff. In fan-recorded clips circulating online, she told the audience she was especially grateful, noting that the show might be her last for a while.

In his post, Jorginho explained that his daughter had been excited to see an artist she admired and had even made a sign beforehand. He said that by chance, they were staying at the same hotel as Roan, and during breakfast, his daughter simply walked past the singer’s table to confirm it was her before returning to her seat without speaking or asking for anything.

He alleged that shortly afterward, a security guard approached their table in what he described as an aggressive manner, warning them against “disrespecting” or “harassing” others and even threatening to report them to hotel management. Jorginho said the situation upset his daughter, who ended up in tears.

The athlete, whose full name is Jorge Luiz Frello Filho, criticized the handling of the situation, emphasizing that fans play an essential role in an artist’s success and that no child should experience such treatment. He also directly tagged Roan in his message, expressing strong disappointment.

The child in question was not named, though the post appeared to refer to Ada Law, the daughter of Catherine Harding and actor Jude Law.

Roan has since addressed the controversy and has previously spoken about maintaining personal boundaries with fans and photographers. Earlier in the month, she drew attention after calling out individuals waiting outside a restaurant, describing their behavior as intrusive.

Lollapalooza Brazil ran from March 20 to 22 at the Autódromo de Interlagos, featuring a lineup that included acts like Cypress Hill, Lola Young, Marina, and others.
