The ninth annual LOVE ROCKS NYC concert is set to happen on March 6 at the Beacon Theatre.
The lineup for the LOVE ROCKS NYC benefit concert has been revealed.
On Wednesday, Feb. 12, the ninth annual event announced a star-studded roster for its March 6 performance at the Beacon Theatre.
Scheduled to take the stage are Alicia Keys, Beck, Cher, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Dave Stewart of Eurythmics featuring Vanessa Amorosi, Eric Burton of Black Pumas, Grace Bowers, Jesse Malin, Kate Hudson, Luke Spiller, Mavis Staples, Michael McDonald, Peter Frampton, The War and Treaty, and Trey Anastasio.
Sponsored by Bloomberg Philanthropies, the concert will benefit God’s Love We Deliver, a New York-based nonprofit dedicated to preparing and delivering medically tailored meals to individuals who are unable to shop or cook due to illness.
Alex Edelman, Amy Schumer, Susie Essman, and Tracy Morgan are also set to make special appearances during the concert.
“As we get ready for the ninth annual LOVE ROCKS NYC event, we’re reminded of how music and community can drive meaningful change,” said Terrence Meck, President and CEO of God’s Love We Deliver, in a statement shared with PEOPLE.
“This year holds special significance as God’s Love We Deliver marks the milestone of delivering over 40 million meals since our founding in 1985,” Meck added.
“We take great pride in our mission to nourish neighbors facing severe and chronic illness, and we’re deeply grateful to Love Rocks NYC for the awareness and support it brings to our work.”
This year also marks the organization’s 40th anniversary. Along with benefiting God’s Love We Deliver, LOVE ROCKS NYC will extend its support to Project Angel Food in Los Angeles, a peer organization in the Food Is Medicine Coalition, to aid recovery efforts following the devastating wildfires.
Since its inception in 2017, the LOVE ROCKS NYC concerts have raised $50 million, funding 5 million meals for New Yorkers facing serious illnesses. The organization provides medically tailored meals designed for over 200 different diagnoses.
In 2024 alone, staff and volunteers prepared, cooked, packaged, and delivered more than 4 million medically tailored meals to 17,000 individuals in New York living with or affected by severe illnesses.
