Drake Delays Remaining Down Under Tour Dates Citing ‘Scheduling Conflict’

“Drake and the entire team have thoroughly enjoyed these shows and look forward to returning soon,” the statement reads.

Drake’s Anita Max Win Tour is wrapping up sooner than planned.

The God’s Plan rapper, 38, has canceled his remaining shows in Australia and New Zealand due to “a scheduling conflict.”

“We are actively working on rescheduling these dates and adding additional shows,” read a statement first obtained by Rolling Stone.

It continued, “All tickets for the affected shows will remain valid for the new dates. Refunds will be available for those who prefer, but please note that since these shows are sold out, any refunded tickets will be released for sale.”

The statement further expressed, “We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience. Drake and the entire team have had an incredible time performing these shows and are eager to return soon.”

It concluded, “We look forward to sharing the rescheduled dates with you as soon as possible.”

PEOPLE reached out to Drake for comment but did not receive an immediate response.

Drake launched his Anita Max Win Tour on Feb. 4 at RAC Arena in Perth, Australia, making stops in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane. He also treated fans to surprise performances at two Melbourne hotspots.

The now-canceled shows included one in Brisbane, one in Sydney, and two in Auckland, New Zealand.

While touring Down Under, Drake surprised fans with a collaborative album, $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, released on Feb. 14 with PARTYNEXTDOOR. The project debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
