Joe Jonas becomes emotional as the Jonas Brothers close out their 20th anniversary tour with surprise guest appearances

Following a 74-date run across North America, the Jonas Brothers closed out the JONAS20 tour with a final performance at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Dec. 22.
After completing a 74-date trek throughout North America, the Jonas Brothers are bringing their JONAS20: Greetings From Your Hometown Tour to a close.
Brothers Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas launched the celebratory tour in August at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, marking two decades as a band. They wrapped up the milestone run on Monday, Dec. 22, with a final show at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, capping off a standout year.
From the very first night — which featured appearances from Dean Lewis, Switchfoot, Jesse McCartney (who later joined the tour as an opening act), and Demi Lovato — the tour became known for its rotating lineup of surprise guests. The closing show continued that tradition.
JoJo kicked off the evening’s guest performances, making her second appearance on the JONAS20 tour after previously joining the band at Fenway Park in Boston. She performed her hit “Too Little Too Late” before teaming up with the brothers for their song “Vacation Eyes.”
Later in the night, Japanese musician Yoshiki joined the group at the piano for a performance of “Fly with Me.” Grammy-winning artist Norah Jones then took the stage to deliver her classic track “Don’t Know Why.”
Rounding out the night’s special appearances, Best New Artist Grammy nominee Sombr joined the band to perform his song “Back to Friends.”
For the encore, the Jonas Brothers returned to perform “Please Be Mine,” the first song they ever wrote together. They were then joined by their parents, Denise Jonas and Kevin Jonas Sr., along with their younger brother Franklin, for an emotional rendition of “When You Look Me in the Eyes” — a song co-written with their father early in their career.
Before launching into the final number, Nick, 32, reflected on the significance of the moment, telling the crowd that while the U.S. leg of the 20th anniversary tour was ending, their journey was far from over. He thanked fans for allowing the band to continue sharing their music and stories year after year, calling it a true gift.
After finishing their 2007 hit, the trio embraced and took one final bow together. As they stepped forward to acknowledge the crowd, Joe, 36, became visibly emotional, wiping away tears as the tour came to an end.
