Justin Bieber is soaking up Iceland’s natural beauty.
On Thursday, Aug. 14, the 31-year-old pop star unveiled the music video for “First Place,” a track from his Swag album. The straightforward, black-and-white video captures him exploring Iceland’s landscapes, snowboarding, and sharing behind-the-scenes moments from his time in the studio.
The clip begins with Bieber enjoying a snack as he steps out of a building marked “Samvinnufélag Fljótamanna,” then strolling along the waterfront.

The black-and-white visuals show the 31-year-old pop star recording the track inside a cozy house alongside collaborators, occasionally pausing to smoke, chat by the fireplace, and share lighthearted moments. He’s also seen soaking in an outdoor hot tub before braving a cold plunge, then taking a helicopter ride to a mountaintop for a snowboarding run with friends.
Later scenes capture him biking through the rugged mountains and leaving the recording booth, signaling the song’s completion. On Instagram, where he shared the video, Bieber jokingly captioned the post with, “FORGIVE MY CHICKEN LEGS.”
Lyrically, “First Place” reflects on the highs and lows of a relationship that always comes back to a joyful connection, with Bieber — who is married to Hailey Bieber — singing about celebration, closeness, and not wanting to lose his partner.
The song is part of his Swag album, released in July 2025, which has already produced two Billboard Hot 100 top 10 singles: “Daisies” and “Yukon.”
Earlier in the week, Bieber also shared a heartfelt Instagram message about his faith, expressing gratitude for Jesus and the forgiveness, love, and strength he says help him through his lowest moments.
