Justin Bieber embraced a laid-back vibe in his new music video for “Bad Honey,” released on Tuesday, Oct. 7. The track appears on his latest album, SWAG II.
In the dimly lit video, the 31-year-old pop star enjoys a pint of Guinness while dancing around a cozy pub in Dundee, Scotland, dressed casually in a hoodie, sweatpants, and his trademark beanie.
The video was directed by Rory Kramer and shot at the Abandon Ship Bar. Pub manager Rae Wright recalled her surprise when Bieber arrived unexpectedly. “It was just a normal Saturday night, and then he walks in with three or four people,” she told the BBC in an interview published Wednesday, Oct. 8. “He brought his own speaker, set everything up, added a few lights, and then just started filming.”

Pub manager Rae Wright admitted it took her a moment to realize the man in the green beanie was actually Justin Bieber. “I’m used to the baby Justin Bieber with the hair flick,” she said. “No one walks around Dundee in a green beanie looking like that. Then my manager gave me the side eye like, ‘Yeah, that’s really him.’”
Wright added that Bieber was “lovely” and treated the bar staff with genuine kindness. “He spoke to us like we were real people, which not everyone does,” she shared. “It’ll be nice once it all sinks in and we realize — wow, Justin Bieber was actually here.”
Bieber released SWAG II on Sept. 5, following his surprise July 11 drop of SWAG, his seventh studio album, which earned widespread critical praise.
While “Bad Honey” shows a relaxed, intimate side of the pop star, Bieber also recently shared a more personal glimpse into his family life in the video for “Yukon,” a track from SWAG. The video features his and Hailey Bieber’s 14-month-old son, Jack Blues, marking the baby’s music video debut.
In the heartwarming clip, Justin is seen on a boat, playing with Jack on his lap before a shot of the baby’s tiny legs kicking in the water. The video later pans out to reveal Hailey, holding their son as the family of three enjoys a quiet moment together.
Despite recent online rumors about their marriage, Bieber continues to reaffirm his commitment to Hailey through his music — most notably in his song “Walking Away.” In it, he reflects on the ups and downs of love, singing:
“Days go by so fast, don’t wanna spend them without you / so tell me why you’re throwing stones at my back / You know I’m defenseless.
