Katy Perry is offering fans another look at her relationship with Justin Trudeau through social media.
On May 2, the 41-year-old singer posted a 17-slide Instagram carousel that included photos with Trudeau, 54, a snapshot alongside supermodel Miranda Kerr, and clips capturing moments from her busy April. She captioned the post with a seasonal phrase about April rain leading into May blooms.
Among the images were a scenic shot of the couple from behind as they gazed out over the ocean, as well as a close-up selfie of Perry smiling while leaning her head on Trudeau’s shoulder. Another photo featured a customized jar of pickles decorated with their picture and a playful label referencing both pop culture and politics.
The carousel also included a mix of other content, such as a papier-mâché butterfly, a video of Perry chatting mid-flight, and footage of a children’s karate class taking place on the beach.
Rumors about Perry and Trudeau’s relationship first surfaced when they were seen together in Montreal in July, before they confirmed things publicly on Instagram in December. Since then, they’ve been managing a long-distance relationship while juggling demanding schedules. According to a source, both prioritize creating stability for their children and have remained flexible to make things work, traveling whenever possible to spend time together.
Perry shares her daughter Daisy Dove, 5, with former fiancé Orlando Bloom. Trudeau, meanwhile, has three children—Xavier, Hadrien and Ella-Grace—with his estranged wife Sophie Grégoire Trudeau. The same source noted that both understood from the start that their lives are complex and that maintaining the relationship would require effort, but they’ve remained committed to seeing where it leads.
Since going public, the pair have appeared together at several events and frequently show up on each other’s social media. On April 10, they were photographed attending the Beef season 2 tastemaker event in California, where they posed alongside Ted Sarandos and Nicole Avant during the star-studded gathering.
