Kelly Clarkson is comfortable with being nude—within limits.
On the December 6 episode of her show, Clarkson, 42, chatted with Taye Diggs and Tyler Posey about the experience of being naked. Posey, 33, shared a photo from May where he posed with his pants down to mark three years of sobriety.
“Was that your booty?” Diggs, 53, asked, to which Posey confirmed.
Clarkson then asked, “How freeing was that moment though?” before declaring, “I love being naked!”
“I think we are so weird about being naked, especially in this country,” Clarkson continued.
“America is weird about it,” Posey agreed.
“It’s so weird. It’s just bodies,” Clarkson said. “I mean, there are inappropriate ages for certain things, but at some point, it’s just like, we’re not that different, you know?”
Posey described being naked as “liberating,” to which Clarkson replied, “until gravity takes hold. And then it’s like, wow, that happens, huh?”
The talk show host, along with Diggs and Posey, is having a busy December. The two actors appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show ahead of the premiere of their FOX special The Real Full Monty, airing Monday, December 9, at 8 p.m. ET.
The show follows six men as they “train and rehearse for the most revealing performance of their careers,” which culminates in a big strip-tease dance choreographed by Emmy Award-winner Mandy Moore, where they will bare it all in front of a live audience.
The logline further explains that, leading up to the final disrobing, the men will push their limits of comfort, modesty, and brotherhood through a series of private and public rehearsals and experiences, all designed to build confidence, push them out of their comfort zones, and strengthen their bond as a group.
