Kelly Clarkson Reveals New Dates for Her Rescheduled Las Vegas Residency Following a Family Tragedy

The “Miss Independent” artist had earlier delayed multiple performances in August, just a day before the passing of her former husband, Brandon Blackstock.
Kelly Clarkson Set to Return to Las Vegas with Rescheduled Residency Dates
Kelly Clarkson is making her way back to Las Vegas.
After pausing several performances from her Studio Sessions residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace earlier this year, the “Miss Independent” hitmaker revealed on Monday, Nov. 3, that she’ll be returning with new show dates in 2025.
“New Vegas shows have been added! Come see me at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace,” the Grammy-winning singer announced on social media. “Tickets on sale Friday!”
The new Studio Sessions performances are scheduled for Aug. 7, 8, 14, and 15. Clarkson also still has previously planned shows set for this month, as well as July and August.
Tickets will first be available through a Citi presale starting Tuesday, Nov. 4 at 10 a.m. PT and running through Thursday, Nov. 6 at 10 p.m. PT. A fan club presale begins Wednesday, Nov. 5 at 10 a.m. PT, followed by additional presales for Caesars Rewards members, Live Nation, and Ticketmaster customers beginning Thursday, Nov. 6 at 10 a.m. PT. All presales will close Thursday night at 10 p.m. PT, with general ticket sales starting Friday, Nov. 7 at 10 a.m. PT.
Back on Aug. 6, Clarkson announced that she was postponing the remainder of her August shows to spend time with her children — River, 11, and Remington, 9 — while sharing that their father, her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock, was battling illness. Sadly, Blackstock passed away the next day at age 48 due to malignant melanoma.
“Unfortunately, I need to postpone the rest of the August Studio Sessions dates in Las Vegas,” The Kelly Clarkson Show host said in a statement at the time. “While I normally keep my personal life private, this past year, my children’s father has been ill, and right now, I need to be fully present for them. I’m truly sorry to everyone who bought tickets and deeply appreciate your kindness, grace, and understanding.”
A spokesperson for Blackstock’s family shared a statement with PEOPLE on Aug. 7, confirming his passing: “It is with great sadness that we share that Brandon Blackstock has passed away. Brandon bravely fought cancer for over three years and passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones. We are grateful for your thoughts and prayers and ask that you respect the family’s privacy during this difficult time.”
Clarkson and Blackstock were married for seven years before their split in 2020. The singer filed for divorce that same year, and it was finalized two years later.
