Lady Gaga has hinted at the release date for her first new single from her forthcoming seventh studio album during the Venice Film Festival.

The Grammy and Oscar winner is currently in the spotlight promoting Joker: Folie à Deux following the release of her recent collaboration with Bruno Mars, “Die with a Smile.”
New music from Lady Gaga might be arriving sooner than expected.
While the Grammy and Oscar winner is currently focused on promoting her role as Harleen “Lee” Quinzel, also known as Harley Quinn, in Joker: Folie à Deux at the Venice Film Festival, she took to Instagram on September 3 to hint at the release date for her first new single from her upcoming seventh album.
Gaga, 38, posted a photo of her festival schedule for the week, which includes a welcome dinner, the world premiere of the Joker sequel, a press conference, red carpet events, and a European press junket.
Following the festival, Gaga’s schedule indicates that Joker: Folie à Deux, featuring Joaquin Phoenix in the title role, will hit theaters on October 4. Additionally, the first single from her upcoming seventh album, “LG7,” is set to be released sometime in October.
The “Stupid Love” artist previously previewed her new album by sharing a brief snippet of a track at the end of her Gaga Chromatica Ball special, which premiered in May on HBO. She also played several audio snippets for fans outside her hotel during the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Last month, Gaga released “Die with a Smile,” a romantic soft rock ballad featuring Bruno Mars, which has since climbed to No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100.
In a statement about the duet released on August 16, Gaga mentioned, “Bruno and I have a lot of mutual respect for each other and had been discussing a collaboration.”
She continued, “I was putting the finishing touches on my own album in Malibu when, after a long day, he invited me to his studio to listen to something he was working on.”
Gaga added, “I arrived around midnight and was amazed by what Bruno had started. We spent the entire night writing and recording the song together. Bruno’s talent is indescribable; his musicianship and vision are truly exceptional. There’s no one quite like him.”
Mars, 38, also shared his thoughts on collaborating with the “Bad Romance” star, stating, “Working with Gaga has been an honor. She’s an icon and adds a magical touch to this song. I can’t wait for everyone to hear it.”
Before the release of “Die with a Smile,” Gaga mentioned on Instagram that the duet is intended for fans to enjoy “while you wait for LG7.”
