Lady Gaga Makes Surprise Halftime Cameo with Bad Bunny at the 2026 Super Bowl

Lady Gaga made a surprise appearance during the Super Bowl 2026 halftime show.
Partway through Bad Bunny’s Apple Music Super Bowl LX performance on Sunday, Feb. 8, the 16-time Grammy winner unexpectedly joined the Puerto Rican superstar — born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio — onstage, thrilling both the stadium crowd and viewers watching across the country.
Wearing a baby-blue dress paired with red accents, Gaga performed a live rendition of “Die with a Smile,” her 2024 collaboration with Bruno Mars. The song was reworked with her band for the performance, and she delivered it solo without Mars.
Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, previously headlined the Super Bowl halftime show in 2017 and later returned for a surprise pregame performance in 2025. During this year’s set, Bad Bunny joined her onstage, dancing alongside her as she sang.
The halftime show also featured Ricky Martin and several celebrity cameos, including Jessica Alba, Pedro Pascal, and Cardi B — Bad Bunny’s “I Like It” collaborator — who all appeared on the field during the high-energy performance.
Earlier that day, Jennifer Lopez shared a supportive message for Bad Bunny on social media. The singer and actress, who co-headlined the 2020 halftime show with Shakira and brought him out as a guest, expressed pride in their shared Puerto Rican roots and encouraged him ahead of the big moment.
Just a week before the Super Bowl, Bad Bunny received a standing ovation at the Grammys while accepting the award for Best Música Urbana Album for DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS. During his speech, he delivered a pointed message about immigration, emphasizing humanity and unity.
In contrast, President Donald Trump had previously criticized the choice of Bad Bunny and Green Day as performers for the event, calling them poor selections for the Super Bowl lineup.
