Lady Gaga proved her professionalism once again after taking a tumble mid-performance during her MAYHEM Ball show in Las Vegas. While singing “Vanish Into You” from her latest album MAYHEM, the 39-year-old artist slipped after stepping offstage to perform among the crowd. A member of her camera crew also appeared to stumble, as seen in a video shared by a fan on X (formerly Twitter).
The “Abracadabra” hitmaker didn’t let the fall slow her down — she got right back up and continued the set unfazed, earning cheers from fans nearby who applauded her smooth recovery. The night went on with Gaga delivering a visually rich, gothic-inspired spectacle complete with elaborate sets and dynamic choreography.
Another viral moment from her Vegas residency showed Gaga stripping down her performance — literally and figuratively — while singing “How Bad Do U Want Me.” In this encore clip, the “Disease” singer is seen backstage removing her makeup and wiping her face with a towel. Ditching her usual over-the-top attire, she emerged in a minimalist outfit: a black bodysuit, leather trench coat, baseball cap, and sunglasses — embracing a raw and natural look as she closed out the show.
The MAYHEM Ball marks Gaga’s return to touring after her 2022 Chromatica Ball. Speaking about the shift in style, Gaga explained that while stadium shows offer their own energy, this tour was designed to feel more personal and immersive. “With the MAYHEM Ball, I wanted something more intimate — something that brings me closer to the audience and the kind of live theatrical art I love,” she said in a statement.
Though she originally had no plans to tour in 2025, Gaga shared on Instagram that the overwhelmingly positive reception to MAYHEM — released on March 7 — changed her mind. “I wasn’t planning to tour this year after my shows in Singapore,” she wrote, “but the incredible response to the new album inspired me to keep things going.”
Earlier this year, on May 3, Gaga broke a major milestone: her concert on Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro became the most-attended live show by a female artist in history, drawing an estimated 2.5 million fans.
