During the second night of her MAYHEM Ball Tour in Los Angeles, Lady Gaga gave a heartfelt shout-out to her fiancé, Michael Polansky. The pop superstar, currently touring in support of her latest album MAYHEM, performed at the Kia Forum on Wednesday, July 30, where she referred to Polansky as “the love of my life” just before singing her track “Vanish Into You.”
After a solo piano performance of her song “Die with a Smile,” Gaga, 39, stood to greet the audience with a smile, thanking them for their energy. “I hope you all had a great time. If not… well, that’s all I’ve got!” she joked, earning cheers and applause. She also expressed deep gratitude to her fans: “There’s not a day I don’t feel thankful for the chance to make you smile. Every time I’m on stage, I try to give you my best.”
Reflecting on what grounds her in life, Gaga shared that when things feel uncertain, she finds strength in everyday moments and her loved ones. “Spending time with my family, sharing meals, talking about life and the future—those are the things that matter most,” she said, encouraging the audience to embrace the people they care about.
She also took a moment to recognize choreographer Parris Goebel, who worked on her 2025 Coachella set and the “Abracadabra” music video, acknowledging her presence in the crowd with her father. “I hope you know how special your daughter is,” Gaga said.
Turning her attention to Polansky, 46, Gaga gave a tender tribute. “It’s so much more fun doing all of this with you, my love,” she said, adding that she’s deeply thankful to the fans who have supported both her and Polansky. Before launching into “Vanish Into You,” she told the audience, “I hope one day I just vanish into each and every one of you.”
Back in March, Gaga discussed her engagement and how it inspired her songwriting, particularly her track “Blade of Grass” from MAYHEM. Speaking to Zane Lowe for Apple Music, she revealed that a simple, intimate moment with Polansky influenced the lyrics. “We were in our backyard, and he asked me how I’d want him to propose someday. I told him, ‘Just wrap a blade of grass around my finger,’” she recalled. “That moment stuck with me—the way he looked, the grass under our feet—and it became the heart of that song.”
