Madonna has given fans a glimpse into her extravagant birthday celebrations in Italy, which reportedly included her rumored boyfriend, Akeem Morris.

The pop icon celebrated her 66th birthday in Pompei on Friday, August 16, and also spent time in Positano during her trip.
Madonna is enjoying “la dolce vita” in Italy! To celebrate her 66th birthday on August 16, the pop icon traveled to Italy, spending the occasion with family, friends, and her rumored boyfriend, Akeem Morris.
She shared a glimpse of the festivities on Instagram with a carousel of 20 photos, captioned “La Dolce Vita” on August 19, accompanied by birthday cake, champagne, heart, and Italian flag emojis.
The photos included moments from her visit to Pompei, where she attended an event at the Archaeological Park of Pompeii. She spent the evening with participants in the Sogno di Volare project, which gives local youth the opportunity to perform in classical productions at the park’s ancient theater.
Madonna’s birthday post also featured scenes of the ancient ruins and historic venue where the event took place. Other photos show her strolling hand in hand with Akeem Morris, dressed in a white gown and adorned with gold jewelry.
Another image from above captures the entire theater, with a long, curved table set for guests in the center. A close-up shot provides a view of the opulent tablescape, with Madonna seated next to Akeem Morris.
Madonna and Jamaican-born soccer player Akeem Morris first made headlines in August 2022 when they appeared together in her Paper Magazine cover shoot. They weren’t seen together again until two years later, when Madonna posted photos of them looking close on the Fourth of July in 2024, fueling dating rumors.
In the final slide of her post, Madonna is seen posing with all six of her children at the event. The group includes her sons Rocco, 24, and David, 18, along with her daughters Lourdes, 27, Mercy, 18, and twins Stella and Estere, both 11.
In one photo, Rocco is seen with his arm around his mother as they look down at a large cake decorated with fruit, powdered sugar, candles, and an inscription in icing that says, “Happy Birthday Rocco.”
That evening, the “Material Girl” singer took the opportunity to capture a photo of herself in her floral outfit while standing by the balcony.
Madonna also had a stay at the opulent Villa TreVille resort in Positano during her visit. This five-star hotel, which Jennifer Lopez had booked earlier in the summer for her Italian vacation, is located on the Amalfi Coast and offers views of the Tyrrhenian Sea.
