Michael Bublé is making his comeback to The Voice! The singer will rejoin the show as a coach for its third season.

Michael Bublé is once again taking on the role of coach on The Voice!
NBC revealed on Monday, May 12, that the 49-year-old Canadian singer will be returning to the popular singing competition this fall for his third season, making him one of the few artists in recent years to serve as a coach for more than two consecutive seasons.
“This is the best job I’ve ever had. Going to work every day is a joy, and I’m so excited to return for Season 28,” Bublé shared exclusively with PEOPLE. “I remember being just like these contestants. I know how badly they want it and how difficult it is to reach that point. I’ve had my dream come true, and getting to help others on their journey to do the same is incredibly fulfilling.”
He added, “The reason The Voice continues to be such a success after all these years is because it’s truly about the artists. The talent on this show is phenomenal, and being a part of that process has been such a rewarding experience.”
Bublé began his coaching journey on The Voice in Season 26, which aired in 2024, alongside Gwen Stefani, Reba McEntire, and Snoop Dogg. Before that, he had appeared as an advisor. His first-ever contestant, Sofronio Vasquez, went on to win that season, becoming the first Filipino singer to take home the top prize in the U.S. version of the show.
Reflecting on his first blind audition experience, the “Feeling Good” singer admitted it wasn’t his strongest suit. “It’s difficult to advocate for yourself in that way. I tried to do it with humor, being self-deprecating, hoping to break down barriers that way,” he explained after the season wrapped. “In other seasons, where the coaches might have been more competitive, it would’ve been tougher for me, but I was just trying to be genuine and show that I could help. My dad always said: If you’re good, you don’t need to tell people.”
The Grammy-winning artist previously revealed in September of last year during an appearance on Today that he was approached to join The Voice over 15 times before finally agreeing to participate.
He initially turned down the offer due to his reluctance to take on the role of judging other vocalists. “But thank God we’re not judges. The other shows have judges — we are coaches,” Bublé explained at the time.
He went on to say, “And the reason I say that is because most of the singers are better than me, and I have no place ever judging anyone. So, to get to coach them and live the fantasy of having this career that I’ve had and then help someone else achieve that? That’s the cool part.”
In February, Bublé returned for his second stint as a coach on season 27, joining John Legend, Adam Levine, and Kelsea Ballerini. As of last week, he still had two contestants left on his team—Jadyn Cree and Adam David—as they moved on to the next round of live shows.
Just last month, Bublé praised Cree after she performed “Danny’s Song” in the battle round alongside fellow Team Bublé contestant Braxton Garza. After the performance, each coach offered feedback, and Bublé told Cree that her performance was “flawless.”
“Jadyn, I don’t think you know how great you are. You could win this show, for sure,” he told her.
In a one-on-one interview following the decision, Bublé called Jadyn a “superstar.”
