Sabrina Carpenter Crafts Her ‘Ideal’ Man From Pringles in Debut Super Bowl Spot

The singer made her Super Bowl commercial debut in a funny new advertisement for Pringles.
Sabrina Carpenter may have found romance — though it comes with an unusual twist.
In a new Pringles commercial set to air during Super Bowl 2026, the “Espresso” singer decides she’s had enough of real-life dating and takes matters into her own hands by creating her own boyfriend entirely out of potato chips. She names her crunchy creation Pringleleo.
The playful ad follows Carpenter and her chip-built companion through a series of affectionate moments, including a dreamy date, a carefree drive with the roof down, and cozy time spent together in bed. Their love story takes a chaotic turn when overzealous fans swarm Pringleleo, tearing him apart and eating the chips that once made up his body. Unable to resist the snack herself, Carpenter ultimately joins in, taking a bite as well.
PEOPLE previously broke the news that Carpenter would appear in her first-ever Super Bowl commercial. In a teaser for the spot, she’s shown selecting Pringles from a bouquet as if they were flowers.
The collaboration feels almost full-circle. Back in 2017, when Carpenter was just 17, she tweeted a now-amusing question: “Is there a way to look attractive while eating Pringles asking for a friend.”
The ad is part of Pringles’ long-running “Once You Pop, The Pop Don’t Stop” campaign, which highlights the irresistible nature of the brand’s signature chips.
Pringles has a history of enlisting major celebrities for its Super Bowl commercials. Its 2025 spot featured Adam Brody, Nick Offerman, James Harden, and NFL coach Andy Reid, all paying homage to the brand’s iconic mustache mascot. The year before, Chris Pratt appeared in a similar mustache-themed ad, and in 2023, pop star Meghan Trainor starred in the snack brand’s Big Game commercial.
