Selena Gomez is sharing insights into her life as a newlywed with husband Benny Blanco.
In an interview with Zane Lowe for Apple Music on Thursday, Nov. 13, the 33-year-old Rare Beauty founder discussed how married life has been since their wedding in Santa Barbara, California, on Sept. 27.
Lowe remarked, “Congratulations on finding someone to share your life with. I imagine the joy continues long after the wedding day, through the months and years ahead.”
Gomez responded, “Absolutely, it’s been a dream so far. Of course, there will be ups and downs, but he’s the most beautiful person I could share this with.”
According to a source, Gomez and Blanco crafted a wedding celebration that felt perfect for both themselves and their guests. “There was so much love in the room,” the insider said.
The couple’s nuptials were attended by several notable figures, including Gomez’s best friend Taylor Swift — who shared behind-the-scenes photos — Blanco’s close friend Ed Sheeran, and Gomez’s Only Murders in the Building co-stars Martin Short and Steve Martin. “Everyone was celebrating late into the night. The atmosphere was so fun, and the newlyweds were glowing and couldn’t stop smiling,” the source added.

A source previously told PEOPLE that Gomez and Blanco kicked off their married life with a short honeymoon road trip. “They loved their little honeymoon,” the insider said. “After celebrating for days during the wedding, they enjoyed slowing down and exploring. They drove along the California coast and also spent time in Texas, taking the chance to relax together.”
