Usher and Ludacris Celebrate ‘Yeah!’ Going 13 Times Platinum After Super Bowl: ‘Thank U to Everyone Who Ever Pressed Play’

The pair performed the song with Lil Jon at the 2024 Super Bowl

Usher and Ludacris have a reason to be “screamin’.”

The “U Got It Bad” singer, 45, and the “Act a Fool” artist, 46, shared on X (formerly known as Twitter) that Usher’s 2004 track “Yeah!” — which features Ludacris and Lil Jon — went 13 times platinum.

On Monday, Ludacris initially shared a post on the social media platform revealing the song had accumulated 13 million units on Feb. 9 — just two days before the the duo’s 2024 Super Bowl performance of “Yeah” — along with an image of a Spotify plaque he recently received revealing the track set a new record earning 1 billion streams.

He wrote, “That DAMN SUPER BOWL EFFECT Was The Cherry On Top 🙏🏾 CONGRATS to my brothers @usher @liljon @seangarrettpen & ALL THE FANS THAT MADE THIS ONE OF THE BIGGEST SONGS IN HISTORY!!!”

Usher chimed in on the good news on Tuesday by quote tweeting his collaborator’s post.

“We did that bro 💪🏾🔥 Thank U to everyone who ever pressed play!!” he replied.
