Whitney Houston’s Estate Unveils ‘The Voice of Whitney: A Symphonic Celebration’ Tour Across North America This Fall

Whitney Houston’s Legacy Lives On Through Upcoming Symphonic Tour
A new concert series is set to honor Whitney Houston’s timeless music and mark the 40th anniversary of her legendary career.
In collaboration with Primary Wave Music, the Estate of Whitney E. Houston is launching The Voice of Whitney: A Symphonic Celebration, a North American tour that will spotlight her iconic vocal performances in a fresh, orchestral setting.
According to a press release, the show will feature original and remastered vocal tracks paired with new orchestral arrangements, offering a unique reimagining of some of Houston’s most celebrated songs. Audiences will also experience exclusive, never-before-seen video footage, interviews, and highlights from her historic performances.
Fans can look forward to hearing beloved hits such as “I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me),” “I Will Always Love You,” “Higher Love,” and more.
The tour launches in Cincinnati this September, with stops planned in cities including Wilmington, Thousand Oaks, and Palm Desert, before concluding in Mesa, Arizona. Additional tour dates for 2025 and 2026 are expected to be announced at a later time.
Pat Houston, executor of Whitney E. Houston’s estate and President of The Whitney E. Houston Legacy Foundation, expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming tour celebrating Whitney’s 40th anniversary.
“We’re thrilled about The Voice of Whitney: A Symphonic Celebration and marking this milestone,” Pat Houston said in a statement. “There’s a lot of buzz around the tour, including talks of taking it global, where Whitney had a huge fan base and performed many of her concerts throughout her career. This show offers a truly unique experience, with Whitney’s voice guiding the entire performance.”
The Voice of Whitney first premiered at the Ravinia Festival alongside the Chicago Philharmonic in August and was later performed at the Kennedy Center with the National Symphony Orchestra in November. It made its New York Town Hall debut on February 15, coinciding with the 47th anniversary of Houston’s initial performance at the venue. All previous shows have been sold out.
Whitney Houston, affectionately known as “The Voice,” earned six Grammy Awards over her career before her passing in February 2012 at age 48. Some of her most iconic hits include “I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me),” “How Will I Know,” and her legendary rendition of Dolly Parton’s “I Will Always Love You.”
