A week and a half before the highly anticipated release of his upcoming album “Everything I Thought It Was” on March 15th, Timberlake, aged 43, unveiled the tracklist on Monday. Using a billboard in Los Angeles, the pop superstar disclosed a total of 18 tracks on the album, including a collaboration with his *NSYNC bandmates.

The billboard, prominently displayed atop The Reef in downtown L.A. in partnership with Spotify, showcases the titles of the songs along with the album artwork.

Both Spotify and the “Selfish” singer took to Instagram to share a photo of the illuminated billboard at night, building excitement among fans for the forthcoming album.

In addition to the previously revealed collaboration with Tobe Nwigwe on “Sanctified,” which the duo performed during Justin Timberlake’s appearance on Saturday Night Live in January, Nigerian artist Fireboy DML is set to be a special guest on the album, alongside *NSYNC.

Timberlake’s former bandmates Lance Bass, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, and Chris Kirkpatrick will all join him on the penultimate track of the project, titled “Paradise.”

Excited fans expressed their anticipation in the comments of Timberlake’s post featuring the tracklist. One fan enthusiastically wrote, “*NSYNC NATION WE MOVEEEEEE,” while another exclaimed, “*NSYNC feature no wayyyy.”

“Paradise ft. *NSYNC?! 🌴🔥” added another, indicating the excitement surrounding the reunion of the iconic boy band.

The musician and actor had previously hinted at a collaboration with his fellow ’00s icons by responding to a fan’s comment on TikTok. When a fan speculated about *NSYNC being featured on a track titled “Paradise” on his upcoming album, Timberlake seemingly confirmed the collaboration by responding with a video where he blinked twice after the comment.

The track “Paradise” follows several months after the reunion of the “Bye Bye Bye” group for their first song together in over two decades, “Better Place,” which was featured on the soundtrack for Trolls: Band Together.

To commemorate the single’s release and the group’s reunion, which coincided with their appearance in the animated film, they made appearances together at events such as the MTV VMAs and the movie’s red carpet premiere.

Since the release of “Better Place” in September, members of the *NSYNC band have hinted at the possibility of more songs being in the works.

Shortly after announcing his new solo album, Timberlake appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show and hinted at potential future collaborations, stating, “We’ve been in the studio, so there may be a little something in the future, too.”

“Everything I Thought It Was” marks the first full-length album from the “SexyBack” singer since 2018’s “Man of the Woods.” He has already released the lead single “Selfish” and the track “Drown,” while also teasing snippets of other songs from the album on Instagram.

In a January interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, Timberlake discussed what fans can anticipate from the upcoming album, describing the tracks as “incredibly honest” and “introspective,” while also promising some that are “f—ing fun.”
