Gaga utilized her announcement as an opportunity to urge her fans to register to vote.

Lady Gaga, 38, has quashed speculation about her pregnancy following the circulation of photos from her sister Natali Germanotta’s wedding celebration in Maine. In a playful response, the pop icon posted a TikTok video showcasing her bleached eyebrows, accompanied by a clever nod to Taylor Swift’s track “Down Bad.”

Large white letters atop the video read, “Not pregnant — just down bad cryin at the gym register to vote at www.headcount.org.” In the caption, Gaga reiterated her message urging fans to register to vote, stating, “Register to vote or check if you’re registered EASILY at www.headcount.org.” The brief clip featured Gaga lip-syncing to an audio excerpt asserting, “I don’t have to find an aesthetic; I am the aesthetic. I mean, I’m sure there’s somebody out here right now who is going into Pinterest trying to type up all these adjectives to describe me.”

In a separate video posted on X, formerly Twitter, Gaga playfully winked at the camera and reiterated her message, stating, “Not pregnant…REGISTER TO VOTE or check if you’ve already registered EASILY at http://headcount.org.” The video was also shared on her Instagram Stories.

In April, Gaga sparked similar speculation when she was seen wearing a large diamond ring on her left ring finger during an outing, prompting fans to speculate about a potential engagement with her boyfriend, Michael Polansky. However, the musician’s representative has yet to respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

Gaga was previously engaged to talent agent Christian Carino. Their relationship, confirmed by PEOPLE in February 2017, came to an end in February 2019. Before Carino, Gaga dated Taylor Kinney for approximately four years before their engagement in February 2015. However, the couple parted ways a year later.

In May, during a Q&A session at the Los Angeles premiere of her HBO concert special, Gaga Chromatica Ball, Gaga revealed that she has been actively involved in creating new music.

“I am in the studio every single day. I have written so many songs, I’ve been producing so many songs, and it’s nothing like anything that I’ve ever made before,” she shared. “I love to break genre, and I love to explore music.”
