In an exclusive confirmation to PEOPLE, it has been revealed that Michelle Williams, a five-time Oscar-nominated actress, will narrate the audio version of Britney Spears’ upcoming memoir, “The Woman in Me.” While Spears will provide the introduction to the audiobook herself, Williams will lend her voice to the remainder of the narration.
Spears shared her sentiments about the book, saying, “This book has been a labor of love and all the emotions that come with it. Reliving everything has been exciting, heart-wrenching, and emotional, to say the least. For those reasons, I will only be reading a small part of my audiobook.” She expressed her gratitude to Michelle Williams for reading the rest.
Williams also voiced her support for the Grammy-winning singer, stating, “I stand with Britney” in a show of solidarity.

Britney Spears is set to release her much-anticipated memoir on October 24th, through Gallery Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster. It emphasizes the significance of a woman sharing her story on her own terms and illuminates the enduring influence of music and love.
The audiobook will be released simultaneously with the other editions of “The Woman in Me,” and pre-orders are currently available for the October 24th release.
